Heather Pardi graduated with honors from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science in 2000. She later earned a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership from Albertus Magnus College in 2024.
Heather began her law enforcement career in 1999 with the Orange Police Department, where she served for 21 years and retired as a Lieutenant. During her time with Orange P.D., she held numerous roles, including Patrol Officer, Youth & Community Policing Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and Administrative Lieutenant. Her responsibilities included policy creation and review, grant writing, accreditation oversight, Records Division and Evidence & Property supervision, Field Training Program coordination, Domestic Violence Response Liaison duties, and Honor Guard Commander.
In July 2022, Heather joined the Windsor Police Department as a Captain and currently serves as the Patrol Division Commander. In this command role, she oversees patrol operations while continuing to provide leadership and guidance within the law enforcement community.
Heather was honored as the 2006 “CT Woman Officer of the Year” by the Connecticut Association of Women Police. She has served as a Lethality Assessment Program Coordinator and is trained in Crisis Intervention and Peer Support through CABLE. She is certified to teach Juvenile Laws/Handling Juveniles and Domestic Violence through CT POSTC.
In addition to her law enforcement career, Heather has enjoyed serving as a Group Fitness Instructor since 2007, bringing her passion for leadership, wellness, and community engagement to her professional and personal pursuits.
