Spector Criminal Justice Training Network Has Been Helping Officers for 50 Years!
New Class Offering:
Our “Leadership, Resiliency, Triumph” event, featuring John Mattingly, a distinguished keynote speaker, author, and coach with a 21-year tenure at the Louisville Metro Police Department will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Aqua Turf in Plantsville, CT.
The session aims to equip participants with actionable insights into effective leadership principles, strategies for making informed decisions under pressure, and techniques to foster trust, accountability, and team cohesion. Additionally, attendees will learn practical approaches to building resilience, enhancing communication skills, and developing problem-solving strategies applicable in various scenarios. The program also emphasizes adaptability and change management, providing tools to navigate personal and professional adversities with grace and determination.

Dear Law Enforcement Community:
I would like to share with you some ways that our nonprofit supports agencies in your efforts to provide your officers with quality training while staying on budget. As we approach new budget season, we are always willing to invoice you after July 1st if a program is one you need but your budget will not allow it. We also offer some free options in ZOOM to help agencies keep up with annual mandates. Be on the lookout for Body Worn Cameras and recently due to it being a hot topic, we have been opening up the Immigration Laws block that we present in our Comparative Certification Programs. We offer some “tuition fee waivers”. You can find those opportunities on this website – https://spectortraining.org/in-memoriam/. Even if you don’t see a class that is mentioned in descriptions of those opportunities – it never hurts to ask! We do offer volume pricing where we can – just call me and ask about this if you are sending several officers to any of our programs. If the budget allows I am always willing to consider this!
As Always, Thank You for Being Part of Quality Training for Those Who Protect!
Sincerely,
Tammy Lynn LaBonte
