A successful Accreditation Program depends largely upon the knowledge and understanding of its Accreditation Manager. Spector Training offers coaching/consulting services to assist agencies to help guide you during the accreditation process.
Policy Review:
A Policy Review and Accreditation Compliance ‘MOCK’ will include an experienced consultant reviewing the policies and the accreditation standards of your agency to assure that the policies / written directives are applicable to the standard. Proofs showing
compliance with the standards would also be confirmed if they are present. Needed changes or recommended improvements would be provided in a written report.

Policy Development:
Policy Development would include our consultant reviewing and editing the agency’s existing policies and written directives to bring them into compliance with the standards.
Training:
Staff/Agency Accreditation Training is another available service. Our trainer will explain what a standard is, how to develop written directives to comply with the standard, and how to develop and prove that compliance. Managers will also learn how to set up agency files for the POSTC Accreditation review process.

Pricing for Accreditation Consulting and / or Training
- Review of Agency Policies: Examine policies for compliance with all current laws, State and/or CALEA accreditation standards. (The process of checking the policies would be a review of the existing policies ensuring they are current with today’s laws, training, and best practices. Adding the accreditation standards, either State or CALEA, would further ensure the agency complied with the standards, setting them up for the level of completion to cover the law).
- Inspection of File Design and File Setup of Accreditation Files: File setup would take all the above and add having the Accreditation Consultant review the files the agency has set up to show compliance.
- Attorney Review: An attorney will review critical policies referred to him after Consultant review to ensure liability concerns are addressed.
- Instruction and Recommendations to Agency Accreditation Team: Teaching the Accreditation Managers what a standard is, how to prove it, and how to set up the file for official accreditation review.
